DAISY Online Delivery Protocol (DODP)
Section titled “DAISY Online Delivery Protocol (DODP)”TAB2Read uses the DAISY Online Delivery Protocol — an international standard for accessing digital talking book services. This protocol enables:
- Standardized library access — the same protocol works with any DODP-compatible library
- Secure authentication — your credentials are verified through the standard protocol
- Content discovery — structured browsing, search, and metadata retrieval
- Progress synchronization — reading positions synced between devices and sessions
DODP ensures that TAB2Read can connect to any library that implements this standard, making future library partnerships straightforward.
