Browsing & Search

The Library tab is your starting point for discovering books. TAB2Read offers both traditional browsing and AI-powered search.

Library Tab

The Library tab provides two main ways to find books:

Category Browsing

Browse by structured categories:

  • Genre — Fiction, Non-Fiction, Academic, Religion, Children’s, etc.
  • Author — Alphabetical listing of all authors
  • Language — Filter by Thai, English, or other languages
  • Format — Filter by DAISY Audio, Text, or Braille
  • Recent additions — Newly added books

Each category level can be navigated deeper — for example, Fiction → Thai Fiction → Historical Fiction.

Type or speak a search term to find books by:

  • Title
  • Author name
  • Subject or keyword
Section titled “AI Search”

For more natural discovery, use AI Search — describe what you want to read in natural language.

Book Detail Page

Tapping a book opens its detail page, which includes:

  • Title and author
  • Description / synopsis
  • Available formats (Audio, Text, Braille)
  • Language
  • Action buttons:
    • Stream — start listening immediately (DAISY audio)
    • Download — save for offline reading
    • AI Summary — generate and listen to a preview
    • Add to Favorites — save to your personal list

Each browsing path maintains its own navigation stack. If you browse through Categories → Fiction → Thai Fiction, then switch to the Authors tab, your Fiction navigation is preserved. Switching back returns you to where you were.

Switching Libraries

If you have both TAB Thailand and ABC Global Book Service connected, you can switch between them in the Library tab. Each library has its own catalog and category structure.
