TAB2Read is a reading application designed specifically for blind and visually impaired users. Developed by the Thailand Association of the Blind (TAB), it provides access to thousands of books in multiple formats — DAISY audio, fulltext, and Braille — through a single accessible mobile app.

The app guides you through a natural reading journey:
- Discover — Find books through AI conversation, voice search, or library browsing
- Evaluate — Listen to an AI-generated summary before committing
- Read — Stream DAISY audio, use AI voice for text, or read in Braille
- Manage — Track progress, bookmark, and organize your bookshelf
What Makes TAB2Read Different
Section titled “What Makes TAB2Read Different”Traditional digital libraries require sighted interaction patterns: browsing lists, scanning covers, reading descriptions. For users who rely on screen readers, this means navigating titles one at a time, listening to each announcement, and holding options in memory.
TAB2Read changes this with:
- Conversational AI search — describe what you want to read, and the AI finds matching books
- Real-time voice interaction — have a spoken conversation about books with an AI assistant
- Audio previews — listen to an AI-generated summary before committing to a full book
- On-demand streaming — start listening immediately without downloading

- TAB Thailand Digital Library — Thai-language DAISY books, academic texts, literature, and religious works
- ABC Global Book Service — International collection of accessible books from the Accessible Books Consortium
