Customization

TAB2Read provides several customization options to adapt the reading experience to your preferences.

Reading Preferences

Playback Speed

Adjust audio playback speed from 0.5x to 3.0x for DAISY audio books. Your preferred speed is saved per book.

Sleep Timer

Set an automatic stop timer for:

• Preset durations (15 seconds to 120 minutes)
• End of current chapter (natural stopping point)

Voice Selection

For text books, choose between:

• System voice — your device’s default VoiceOver voice
• AI Voice — natural AI-generated voices with multiple options

Display Settings

Text Size

Adjustable text size for low-vision users who read directly from the screen. Applies to:

• Text reader content
• Book descriptions and metadata
• App interface text

Braille Display Mode

Toggle between ASCII Braille and Unicode Braille rendering for BRF books.

Language Preferences

App Language

Switch the app interface between Thai and English.

AI Language

Set the preferred language for:

• AI Search responses
• AI Summary generation
• AI Live Chat conversation

The AI can respond in Thai or English regardless of the app interface language.

Library Settings

Default Library

Choose your default library (TAB Thailand or ABC Global Book Service).

Download Settings

• Auto-download — automatically download books when added to favorites
• Download quality — balance between file size and audio quality
• Storage management — view and manage downloaded book storage

Notification Preferences

• New book notifications
• Download completion alerts
• Library updates
• Reading reminders
